We’re seeking an experienced Team Lead for Healthcare Reporting & Analytics implementation work to support various ongoing client projects. The successful candidate will work directly with customers and PDS team members. The candidate must be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while exhibiting a high degree of demonstrated technical, written, and verbal communication skills. A proven background in healthcare financial analytics is required.
In this truly cross-functional role, we will look to you to manage internal and client projects from scoping through implementation and training. You will be responsible for designing and implementing web visualizations, reports, and dashboards that deliver business insights and monitor key metrics within healthcare organizations – specifically hospitals, physician groups, and medical centers. Additional responsibilities will include creating detailed documentation, installing, validating, and troubleshooting software, and conducting training sessions.
The successful candidate will have advanced, in-depth knowledge of healthcare business operations and direct experience with Healthcare Practice Management, Hospital Billing, and Patient Scheduling systems. The job comes with a starting salary of $80K – $100K with generous benefits, including health insurance, 401k, paid holidays, and PTO. The candidate may reside anywhere in the country and work from home during standard business hours (Eastern Time); some limited travel is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement Analytics for Healthcare Clients’ Business Needs:
- Help clients implement PDS solutions to uncover powerful business insights and achieve ROI
- Design and implement targeted web visualizations, reports, and dashboards for clinical, financial, quality, and compliance
- Independently manage individual workload, achieving measurable results
- Understand and document customer requirements and needs
- Communicate and work effectively with team members to implement consistent PDS best-practice solutions
Client Training & Support:
- Conduct training to educate users on software applications
- Provide customer support, troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving reporting and data issues
Project Management:
- Lead project management activities from end-to-end
- Evaluate the scope of a project and identify critical factors to ensure successful completion
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines with clear milestones, and workflows to support project implementation
- Identify key project resources and ensure their adherence to the project plan
- Facilitate solution implementation
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Technical Documentation:
- Create detailed documentation on analytic implementations
- Design, develop, and enhance software training program documentation
- Document and maintain client processes
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Analytics or Finance preferred)
Experience:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare data integration, business intelligence, reporting, and analytics or related projects
- 3+ years of Project Management experience with end-to-end implementation (requirements through support) building enterprise data warehouses, data marts, operational data stores, or related business intelligence solutions
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft (Power BI & Reporting Services), MicroStrategy, IBM Cognos software, Tableau, or other major Analytics tool
- Direct experience with Practice Management, Hospital billing, or Scheduling systems
- Direct experience with Revenue Cycle Analytics software
- Proven capabilities in managing implementation or improvement projects specifically for healthcare organizations
- Solid background in designing web visualizations, writing and automating reports, and designing dashboards that support business operations
- Extensive use of advanced functions in Microsoft Excel
- Experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting software remotely
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server as it applies to analytics
