Entry Level CRM Support Specialist

We’re seeking an entry-level CRM Support Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team. The position’s primary role will be to manage and maintain our CRM database to support marketing efforts, and to assist the sales team with Market Research.

CRM tasks include maintaining data integrity, transferring data, writing queries and reports, and data analysis using Excel. Market Research tasks include researching and qualifying target healthcare organizations to add to the CRM database.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel, data entry, web publishing, or online marketing tools and will possess a high level of creativity, initiative, and energy. The ideal candidate has a passion for learning new software skills, along with good business sense and time management. They will be an exceptional individual contributor and a team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a sophisticated organization.

The position is located in our Southbury, CT office. This is not a remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities

CRM Tasks:

  • Make requested changes, updates, and modifications to CRM data and database structure
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure the CRM and market research are supporting company growth goals
  • Provide technical assistance to CRM end-users, diagnosing and resolving problems
  • Import/export and manipulate CRM data using Excel for advanced projects
  • Write queries and generate reports on CRM usage, projects, and campaigns for executive leadership
  • Help maintain CRM procedure guides and training materials

Market Research:

  • Perform online research to identify and qualify new target healthcare organizations
  • Enter new contacts into the CRM
  • Research to ensure data accuracy of existing CRM information

Perform CRM Auditing:

  • Oversee data cleansing, auditing, and update initiatives
  • Monitor data quality, data migrations, and data exports
  • Effectively communicate issues to CRM users to support data improvement goals
  • Seek out continuous improvements to increase the functionality and accuracy of the data to meet business and sales team requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Business, Information Science, Marketing, Finance, Economics


  • Moderate level experience with Computers and Software Systems, particularly Excel (Copy/Paste/Sort/Filter/etc.)
  • Experience with data entry, clerical work, admin assistance, or online marketing
  • Experience writing well-composed emails for school or business
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suites’ Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Sugar CRM, SalesForce, Constant Contact, MailChimp a plus

  • Solid technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to research from different sources and compile the information into a single account profile
  • Friendly, highly motivated, and a natural self-starter
