We are pleased to be presenting The Connection Between HCC Scoring and Financial/Quality Performance in person at the MGMA Leaders Conference in Boston from 10:30am – 11:30am on October 10th.
Our presentation will focus on capturing HCCs from a billing perspective and show how practices can incorporate claims data to identify gaps in HCC and risk adjustment scores. The speakers will address common misconceptions about HCC calculations, explain the data used by payers for HCC scoring, and point out common mistakes that may make payers’ scores incomplete, costing practices thousands of dollars annually. The session will address the relationship between HCC risk scoring and reimbursement, and tactics to ensure insurers pay accurately. Attendees will learn about important key indicators for managing these populations and how HCC data, combined with scheduling data, can identify proactive strategies for improving quality and continuity of care while maximizing reimbursement.
